I want to share how I ensure I’m using “legal music” for my classes.

When I decided to go full online and record classes, I had major concerns about music, copyright laws, recording and putting videos out for public use. I was overwhelmed and I had a lot of questions. I decided to call the woman who knows everything about it, Denise Imbese from Muscle Mixes Music.  I learned a lot.

Did you know that not all royalty-free music is the same?

Just because a song is called royalty-free, that doesn’t mean you can use it for your on-demand classes. Let me explain: When you record videos to use for your on-demand channel, yes, you must use royalty-free music AND you also need to have a sync license. Whatever music you use, please make sure you have both those things in order to stay compliant with music licensing rules.

If you’re not sure if your music source includes the sync license, just ask. I chose to get the full coverage Pro Plan through Muscle Mixes to be safe.

I’m very happy as a Muscle Mix Now App user, and I love the convenience! With the Pro Plan I get access to all of their royalty free music and I am covered with a sync license. I have complete peace of mind when using music for my live and recorded classes.
