The Hypnotic Alphabet, a HypnoFitness Workshop for Trainers.
Have you ever become frustrated when your clients fail to reach their personal goals? Have you experienced resistance with clients when you’ve encouraged them to take action? Do you have clients who “miss” appointments or make excuses?
Bypass trying to “fix it” or “figure it out” by teaching your clients how to control their own body and mind.
In this course we learn the A, B, C’s of cognitive self-hypnosis and how to integrate this life-enhancing methodology into personal training and movement classes. The power of suggestion is explored through a discussion on the conscious and subconscious mind. Learn how habits and patterns are formed through “self-talk”, and how to reinforce the positive while acknowledging all of your clients thought habits. These subtle techniques can be implemented while leading any phase of class or private session. Learn practical ways, chants, movements, mantras, mental tricks and tools to share with your students so they can retain the information they learn from you as they re-train how they think about their body after the session. When your student’s minds and bodies are communicating harmoniously, excuses and resistance will be a thing of the past, for both of you!
Key Workshop Objectives:
Learn and define Hemispheres of Brain.
Learn and define Central Nervous System and Autonomic Nervous System.
Learn and define conscious and subconscious mind.
Every “Body” Has A Story: Emotional Muscle for a Trauma Sensitive Work-Out.
The body of our client has its own history and a story to tell. Even the most sentient trainer can’t predict who shows up with a body that has experienced trauma. In fact, most trainers know very little about what to look for, what movements, words, suggestions that may trigger a stress response. It can be the reason a client has a variety of health concerns, has difficulty maintaining a consistent schedule, or has emotional ups and downs that are tricky to program.
Explore how this distress shows in the body and three theories of how the right kind of movement can yield antidepressant effects and three proven strategies to help our clients live fully engaged heightened lives and how to deliver instructions that help clients gain control and balance. We are in a unique position to assist our clients to write and rewrite their story. Practical application moving and exploring each body part will be included and easy to use in any class or private session to achieve positive change and continuing results.
